We love Nanaimo and we know you do as well. We reside in one of the most beautiful communities on the planet. With our green forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, oceans and clean air we are the envy of the world. I am deeply saddened whenever I see litter strewn about in our pristine neighborhoods. You are invited to volunteer and join us to clear away some of the litter in your own neighborhood. It will feel good and you will get some valuable exercise while becoming a local hero. With a reputation as a clean, green city and being a tourist destination, we can help improve our local economy and instill pride in our community.
